C.R.O.S.S. Youth Group                                             

 C.R.O.S.S. stands for Christian Teens Ready to Openly Serve their Savior.

Hello everyone,
As you can see, lots of stuff going on this month for our youth. Coming up first in April
is a senior high youth retreat to Camp Krislund. It goes from Friday night, April 9th to
Sunday afternoon, April 11th. The weekend will include worship, small group breakouts,
adventure activities, large group games, and great food! It should be a great time for
fellowship with other youth groups and a time to get away from some of our daily
stresses and draw closer to God. Facing the Lion will be playing at our next coffee house
on the 17th. They are from Harrisonburg, VA, so please come, invite friends, and welcome
them out. They'll also be sharing some worship the next morning for our youth Sunday service at church.
I'm excited to also announce our first senior high small group Bible study on April 30th
at our house from 6-8 pm. Quite a few of our youth are interested in delving deeper into
God's Word which is what this night is about. We'll discuss topics that the youth are
dealing with on a daily basis and look to the scriptures for wisdom and discernment.
I also want to say how much Holly and I will miss Wendy Ryan. She was one of
the kindest, gentlest people we knew. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was an
inspiration to both of us, as was her and Dennis's commitment to their marriage. She
was sowing seeds of salvation up to the end, and I have no doubt that fruit will come
from those seeds. We love you Ryan family. You will be in our prayers during this time
of adjustment. Wendy is no longer travelling, she is no longer an alien or stranger
(1 Peter 2:11) but she is home with Jesus.

Trip meeting from 4:30-5 pm.
April 30th - Small Group Youth Bible Study at Matt and Holly's. 6-8 pm. 9th grade and up.
