MEN'S MINISTRIES

Lower Marsh Creek Presbyterian Church offers ministries for men especially aimed at meeting their unique faith and life needs.  LMC recognizes that Christian men are very important to sustaining the living church.  Our objective is to attract men and their families, equip them to manifest their Christian faith, and charge them with living their faith through discipleship in God's world all in the context of Christian fellowship.

Men's Book Study - The Men's Book Study is part of our Men's Ministries Program.  A small group of men meet for an hour on alternate Tuesdays at 7:00 a.m. upstairs at The Ragged Edge Coffee House in Gettysburg.  The group discusses the book selected for study in terms of the author's message, the Bible's teachings on the subject, and how our lives are practically affected as Christian men.  Additional men's book study groups are encouraged.  For information on the Men's Book Study, contact Mark Greathouse at 642-5083.

Current book is "Christianity for Modern Pagans" by John Kreeft

Monthly Men's Breakfasts - Monthly breakfasts have long been a core part of our Men's Ministries Program.  Men meet from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall on the third Saturday of each month for fellowship and a hearty breakfast.  The breakfast features guest speakers from the region.  Speakers have included topics ranging from youth mentoring and Fellowship of Christian Athletes to a Christian book author and a travelogue.  For information on the Monthly Men's Breakfasts, contact Dale Williams at 642-5332.

Announcements of Men's Ministries Program activities are also included in our Sunday church service bulletins and in our church newsletter Lil' Ripples.
